I have no previous climbing experience, is Clip 'n Climb for me?

Clip ‘n Climb is designed to be fun for EVERYONE regardless of ability! The difficulty of our challenges vary so there’s something for everyone to have a go at, from beginners to experts. Our staff will also be there to assist with those less confident.

How long do Clip 'n Climb sessions last?

Approximately 75 Minutes- Sessions comprise of a 15 minute safety briefing and harness fitting, followed by 55 minutes in the arena and 5 mins to debrief and remove your harnesses.

When do I need to arrive?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your session so we can ensure you are signed in and briefed/harnessed before the session start time.

Is there parking on site?

Yes, we have a car park at the front of the Centre. But this can get quite full, please ensure you arrive in enough time so you can find a place in the close proximity of the centre. Our staff will be more than happy to help with any questions or difficulties with parking when you arrive.

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing and trainers.

A fully enclosed shoe is required to climb. Open toed shoes, boots, climbing shoes, crocs or high-heeled shoes are not permitted in the climbing arena.

Long hair must be tied back and all jewellery (including wedding rings), hats or hooded tops must be removed prior to climbing for safety reasons.

Do I need to bring any equipment with me?

No. All necessary equipment is provided by us and there are no additional hire fees for this.

Do you have wheelchair access?

Yes, most of our centre is on the ground floor. We have an accessible toilet. Unfortunately, our café and party room are situated upstairs in our mezzanine area which is only accessed by a set of stairs. If you want to order food or drinks from the café, our staff can happily help by taking your order and will bring the items downstairs to you.

Do you have lockers?

Yes, we have small lockers available at reception that are free to use. They are big enough for small handbags and valuable items. We provide boxes for jackets and jumpers which are kept behind our reception desk during your session.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Indeed we do. These can be purchased online only via our website.

Is there a minimum age?

All our sessions are for those age 4 years to 84+ years.

Our Family sessions (all day Friday and Sat/Sun 930 and 430 slots) can include toddlers age 2-3 years. A non climbing adult must be present to assist.

Do we have to book?

We advise all customers to book online prior to visiting. Our sessions fill up very quickly and this will avoid any disappointment and you can check which slots are available

Do I need to climb with my child?

No, but it’s great fun too! We have instructors in the arena to help. Should you wish to be with your child in the arena then you would need to book on as a climber unless your child is under 7 years old. Only one non climbing adult can be in the arena!
